STEC Inc., a member of
the HORIBA Group, obtains
worldwide exclusive sales rights for Ferran Scientific's Micropole residual
gas analyzers (RGA) and capacitance diaphragm gauges (CDG). STEC also
obtained manufacturing rights for the Ferran Scientific Inc. CDG product

July 1st, 2002:
WinMPA2002-3 was released by Ferran Scientific Inc on Monday July 1st,
2002. The software package can be downloaded from this site by current
users of the Micropole mass spectrometer. WinMPA2002-3 is compatible with
Windows XP, 95/98, 2000, NT 4.0, ME, and Windows 3.1/3.11.

December 1st, 2001:
Ferran Scientific Inc. introduces desktop and man portable gas sampling
system for sub-PPM trace species detection. The Modular Mass selector
Detection System (MMSDS) and the Portable Gas Detection System (PGDS) are
turnkey light instruments suitable for a wide variety of industrial and
field applications. These include PFC abatement monitoring, measuring of
by-products in exhaust lines of semiconductor manufacturing tools and
vacuum furnaces, control of gas purity, environmental and chemical warfare
screening, hazardous gas detection, and planetary explorations.

November 19th, 2001:
Ferran Scientific Inc. has released the new generation of the Quartet RGA
system. The Quartet is a turnkey RGA featuring the Micropole analyzer head
(MPA), the Spectra Converter (SC), and the Control and Display system
(CDS). The new CDs unit is more compact featuring a laptop PC with a larger
screen. The new Quartet includes Symphony components which lead to 10^-10
Torr limit of detection, 600 ms/amu updates, and two ionization energy
settings (45 and 70 eV).

September 5th, 2001:
Ferran Scientific introduces the Plasma Guard, a robust design for handling
and protecting the Micropole RGA in production facilities. The RGA sensor
is encapsulated in a stainless steel casing for easy handling and protected
in harsh environmental such as high energy plasma processes.

July 18th, 2001:
Ferran Scientific’s new TRIO™ CDG product line of compact
capacitance diaphragm gauges meets OEM and end-user needs for low cost
miniature CDG sensors that provide reliable pressure measurements from
atmospheric pressure
down to 10-4 Torr with accuracies 0.5% of reading or better.
